Gujarat polls: Phase 1 voting underway - NewsX

It's a big day in Gujarat, with voting in the first phase of Gujarat assembly elections underway since 8 AM. Nearly 1.81 Crore voters will decide the fate of 846 candidates in fray, Nearly 46 of these are women. The constituencies where polling sarted include 48 in seven districts of Saurashtra, 35 seats in five districts of South Gujarat and four seats in Ahmedabad district.
