NewsX@9 is a NewsX special show which debates the main news event of the day. U.K authorities have downgraded the charges in the attack on retired Lt General Kuldip Singh Brar. Two men are in custody for the assault. One person is charged with assaulting Lt Gen Brar's wife. The focus has also shifted to the memorial being built for Operation Bluestar in the wake of the Brar attack. Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said the Punjab Government needs to introspect on the effect it could have on reviving terrorism in the state. The Punjab Government has dismissed concerns over the memorial, claiming that the fears of a revival of militancy are baseless.
