India News: Delhi Assembly Polls, BJP to soon announce CM candidate

New Delhi: With Assembly elections in Delhi due in November and divisions running deep in the state unit, former BJP president Nitin Gadkari met senior leaders on Friday to try and resolve differences. A second meeting was scheduled for Friday night after leaders spoke out against the "style of functioning" of state unit president Vijay Goel.BJP sources said leaders who met Gadkari and Navjot Singh Sidhu included Goel, V K Malhotra, Harsh Vardhan, Vijender Gupta, Arti Mehra, Pravesh Verma, Vijay Jolly and Vijay Sharma. Gadkari has been asked by the party to oversee preparations for the polls in Delhi."Gadkari was told about differences between senior leaders and Vijay Goel. He was given reports about it.
