No Pak At World Cup: Sink Indo-Pak match tickets; BCCI must push Pak ban

It’s not for nothing that BCCI is the 800 pound gorilla in the room. The world’s richest cricketing body. That practically dictates terms to the ICC. And its time it flexed its muscle. Given that Indo Pak relations are at a nadir, after Pakistan based Jaish E Mohammad claimed responsibility for the terror attack at Pulwama a week ago. A match between the two is something that’s almost ruled out. Or that what every cricket loving Indian would want. But India doesn’t want to stop there. It wants to ensure Pakistan doesn’t play in the world cup. After all, countries that export terror have no place in the civilised world and cannot and must not have any sporting ties. But there are some within the board which feel a blanket ban may be difficult. Let’s debate.
