Saraswati Mata Ki Puja | Goddess Saraswati Mata

Saraswati Mata Ki Puja is an important part of the Navaratri festival. Saraswati Mata Ki Puja is observed at different times in different parts of India.1.Saraswati Vandana or Saraswati Poojan is the traditional worship dedicated to the Hindu Goddess of art and wisdom. This four-day long religious event occurs during Navratri Puja. 2 The procedures of this Vandana includes seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati by worshiping her in the form of musical instruments, religious scriptures and other books. 3 The first day occurs on Maha Saptami and it starts with Saraswati Avahan. The devout followers install a Pratima or Murti of Goddess Saraswati and invoke the goddess through practicing Prana Pratishtha. 4 The Maha Saptami is the second day or rather the most important day. This day is commenced by performing Shodashopachara Pooja and Saraswati Pradhan Pooja along with the Vedic Mantras.5 The day of Mahanavami is observed as the third day and it is also called Saraswati Balidan.
