It's a sunday with multiple political rallies lined up across the country. Notably, PM Modi is in Jammu and Kashmir today. The prime minister will lay the foundation stones for 2 AIIMS in the state, one each in Jammu and Srinagar. In another thrust to education in the region, PM Modi will inaugurate the University of Ladakh. This will be the first-ever university to be set up in Ladakh region. The prime minister's J&K push comes days after he was in Tamil Nadu to kick start several developmental projects including an AIIMS at Madurai. Later this month, the PM will also be in Kanyakumari where he will formally dedicate a 4-lane national highway connecting Kanyakumari to Kashmir.
