Bharat Bandh: Transportation affected due to bandh; metro blocked in Kolkata during protests

Normal life was thrown off gear in many parts of the country as the two days strike called by the trade unions commenced today. There were reports of clashes and vandalism from some parts, while the livelihoods of thousands of workers were affected as a result of bandh politics.
