The legislation accuses President Trump of obstructing justice for firing James Comey. Trump allegedly made the decision after the former FBI director refused to stop investigating his former adviser Michael Flynn. Brad Sherman, via 'The Los Angeles Times' Sherman introduced the articles in 2017 when the Republican party controlled the House, but they will likely be taken much more seriously now. Presumed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently said that she would not "rule out" impeaching Trump.
