No additional MERS patients in South Korea since first confirmed case: KCDC

South Korea says there have been no confirmations of additional MERS patients since the first case of the deadly virus earlier this month,... with all suspected cases testing negative. The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Sunday that 14 people who had been placed under quarantine have all tested negative,... but officials are continuing to keep close tabs on 21 people who came in close contact with the first patient.If they test negative again,... all 21 will be released later this week,... as the maximum incubation period of secondary cases is approximately 14 days.
