Modi in Bengal PM Modi heads to West Bengal; BJP eyes Bengal ahead of 2019 election

After 2 day tour of East Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister will be in West Bengal today. PM Modi will begin his tour by addressing a farmers rally at Midnapore town focusing on the centre's decision to increase the MSP of Kharif crops. Modi's rally at Midnapore comes just about a fortnight after BJP national president Amit Shah's june-29 public meeting in Purulia district.
