Mumbai rain leads to a standstill after heavy rainfall several areas remains waterlogged

The maximum city is in deluge once again. Mumbai has received heaviest ever rainfall in 24 hours. Due to which several areas remain completely waterlogged, school and colleges remain shut today while. Local trains are running late by 10 to 15 minutes. Maximum city received five times the average rainfall yesterday bringing Mumbai to a complete standstill. Yesterday a mother of two was crushed under a bus after she fell off a bike after hitting a pothole, exposing the deplorable condition of infrastructure in maximum city. Few days ago a wall collapsed in Wadala leading to 20 cars caving in. But the authorities are still sleeping, is it time for them to wake up and smell the coffee?
