Despite World Cup Elimination Iranian Fans Celebrated Their Team on the Streets

Iran was eliminated from the World Cup on June 25 but people in Tehran still took to the streets in celebration of the team’s performance.Abas Aslani shared footage of the celebrations on his Twitter page. Citizens can be seen celebrating in the streets, chanting and using noisemakers.“#Iran says goodbye to #WorldCup2018, but Iranian seem to be happy about the performance of #TeaMelliIran,” Aslani tweeted.
