Supreme Court refused to vacate the stay on 16% Maratha reservation decision

The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to vacate the stay on the Maharashtra government’s decision to give 16% reservation to the politically influential Maratha community in state government jobs and state-run educational institutes. The Bombay High Court has put a stay on the decision on 14 November.
