The video shot on a mobile phone shows policemen thrashing two young men with belts inside a police station in Koppal district. The youth jumped signals despite police presence in the Koppal town despite traffic restrictions owing to a temple festival. The duo was intercepted but an altercation between the duo and the police broke out. Irked by the duo's behavior, the police took them to the station where they were beat up with belts.
