RBI to issue Rs. 200 Notes in First Week of Sept, Says Government

The central bank will soon issue 200-rupee note the Finance Ministry has confirmed today. Reserve Bank of India appears to be giving highest emphasis on how to avoid the possibility of an illegal trade of currency notes as it prepares to introduce Rs 200 denominated bank notes for the first time in history.Days later, new Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 500 notes were introduced to ease the cash crunch faced by millions across the country. కరెన్సీ నోట్లపై అక్రమదందాను అడ్డుకొనేందుకు ఆర్‌బిఐ చర్యలను తీసుకొంటోంది. నకిలీ నోట్లు రాకుండా అడ్డుకొనేందుకుగాను కొత్త కొత్త ప్రయోగాలకు రిజర్వ్‌బ్యాంక్ శ్రీకారం చుడుతోంది. తాజాగా రూ. 200 కొత్త నోటును ప్రవేశపెట్టాలని ఆర్‌బిఐ నిర్ణయించింది. ఈ నెలాఖరు లేదా సెప్టెంబర్ మొదట్లో ఈ నోట్లు అందుబాటులోకి వస్తాయని ఆర్‌బిఐ ప్రకటించింది.
