Former Team India director Ravi Shastri has officially applied for the post of the head coach, and now for Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar in an interview has said that Shastri is the front runner for the post. The post of head coach of Team was vacated by former Indian skipper Anil Kumble after Champions Trophy in which India lost to arch-rivals Pakistan in the finals.
