Ajinkya Rahane sets a world record, becomes first cricketer to take 8 catches in a single Test match. 27-year-old Rahane, on Friday, took 5 catches in the 2nd innings to complete 8 in the match, which is a world record for a fieldsman in Test. He equaled the record held by Greg Chappell and Yajurvindra Singh for taking seven catches when he caught Jehan Mubarak off the bowling of Harbhajan Singh in the first Test against Sri Lanka at Galle.
