Zahid: N Korean embassy officials, staff barred from leaving M'sia

Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has announced that North Korean embassy officials and staff are barred from leaving Malaysia. The move followed Pyongyang imposing a temporary ban on Malaysians in North Korea from leaving the republic. Eleven Malaysians are believed to be in North Korea, three embassy staff, two staff of a United Nations aid programme and their family members.
