Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar met Speaker of the US House of Representatives Paul Ryan and discussed safety of Indians, terrorism and how to take Indo-US ties forward. Giving details, Associate Fellow, Wadhwani Chair in US-India Policy Studies at CSIS Sarah Watson said that defence cooperation has been a major area of success between US and India, and Jaishankar should emphasise that during his meeting with his counterparts.
