The run game stalled for the Falcons as they rushed for 52 yards on 22 carries. Oakland is 1-0 on the campaign with the 35-34 road victory to the New Orleans Saints as a +2 ½ point underdog. The total went over 50 points. The Raiders drove for a late touchdown with 47 seconds remaining and were successful on a two point conversion. Oakland piled up 167 yards rushing. Quarterback Derek Carr hit on 24 of 38 throws for 319 yards and a touchdown. Defensively Oakland was lit up by Drew Brees who passed for 423 yards and four touchdowns. The Raiders averaged over six yards a carry on the ground while the Saints had an average of four yards.
