Close-Up of Lucky Seal Escaping Hunting Orcas

Kirk Fraser was out whale-watching with family visiting British Columbia for his wedding when he filmed a very lucky seal scrambling onto his boat to escape a pod of orcas on the hunt. The seal, which Fraser subsequently dubbed “Gerald”, jumped onto the boat and squeezed between the engines to avoid the jaws of the killer whales.
