Mehsana: Despite attack, why BJP MLA Rishikesh Patel is mum - Tv9 Gujarati

Mehsana: Thousands from the Patel community took out a rally, organised under the banner of 'Patidar Anamat Samiti', in Visnagar town demanding that Patels (Patidars) be included in the OBC category which later turned violent and some of the people in the rally went on damaging property. Despite attack on the office, BJP MLA Rishikesh Patel refused to file police complaint and kept mum. According to the sources, he was asked to join the rally by some of the community members but he refused following which they got angry and started vandalism. MLA's quietness has raised several questions.
