Mumbai: Affair goes wrong, married man kills woman - Tv9 Gujarati

Mumbai: The police officials have successfully detected the murder case of a pregnant woman whose body was found dumped in an open drain in Koparkhairane earlier this month. The accused Dangalsingh Karmawat and deceased woman Shilpa were engaged to each other by their families around 12 years ago. However, due to steep dowry demand by the girl's family based in Rajasthan, the engagement was later broken by the accused man's family. The girl was later sent to Mumbai to work as a waitress in a bar at Thane. After continuous efforts of police in murder case, it came to fore that Shilpa threatened man to complain to the village panchayat about him having an illicit affair with her therefore man killed her.
