I remain yours forever And you I'll always and in all ways remember, Because it's in my nature. One look! One smile! One 'Hi there! ' Bound me in capture. Seized by your life-in-blue-jeans carefree demeanor I remain yours forever. Quite the couple we were! A princess, my 'better', And I, your not-so-humble self-chosen 'protector' Because it's in my nature. Choices were made that excluded our endeavor Whose fault was it? Who knows why now? Does it matter? I remain yours forever. For you I forfeit reason by any known measure: In my thoughts, never parted, always together Because it's in my nature. Even to this day I continue to treasure Your illusion past. This woe I choose to honor.
