Stampede at Indian religious festival kills dozens

At least 32 people have died in the Indian state of Bihar following a stampede at a religious festival. Most of the victims were women and children. Survivors complained there was not enough light at the vast open-air event, and that a rumour saying an electrical cable had fallen on the ground started the panic.
