Earlier known as the Production Unit of Kathak Kendra, it was headed by maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj for many years. The Production Unit created numerous full-length dance-dramas, some shorter group compositions as well as solo and duet numbers that have been performed widely in India as well as in other countries.In 2007, the Production Unit was renamed The Repertory Wing of the Kendra. Presently headed by Jai Kishan Maharaj, the Repertory Wing includes the following dancers:1. Shri Deepak Aurora2. Ms. Vidyagauri Adkar3. Ms. Sandhya Pachonia4. Ms. Namrata Mali5. Ms. Pankhuri Srivastava6. Ms. Nilakshi KhandkarIn 1991 Neemrana Fort-Palace opened its doors with a newly-renovated façade, finally recreating the majesty and nobility of the original building as it was in its royal heyday. In 2000 Neemrana won the Intach-Satte award for restoration & tourism for 'being the foremost example of how we can pick architectural treasures from the national dustbin and turn them around'. Neemrana has become synonymous with 'restoration for re-use.' In 2004, Neemrana was nominated for the Aga Khan Award.Now, in 2014, Neemrana Fort-Palace is finally fully renovated, with 65 rooms/suites and rampart gardens .
