Police: Bieber was drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana, taking prescription medication

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Pop singer Justin Bieber was arrested early Thursday morning on several charges including DUI. Miami Beach Police Chief Ray Martinez says an officer spotted Bieber in a yellow Lamborghini drag racing a red Ferrari in a residential neighborhood. When the officer pulled Bieber over, police say he was belligerent and not cooperating with the officer. That's when the officer arrested the 19-year-old singer. He's charged with DUI and resisting arrest without violence. "He was brought to the Miami Beach police station where a DUI investigation was conducted. It was determined that he was impaired. During the investigation, Mr. Bieber had made statements that he had consumed some alcohol, and that he had been smoking marijuana, and consumed some prescription medication," said Chief Martinez. Police said Bieber would be transported to Miami Dade County Corrections.
