Written and Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, 'Phata Poster Nikhla Hero' is an action comedy flick starring Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz in lead roles. 'Phata Poster Nikhla Hero' movie is a full-fledged masala entertainer with elements of romance and action. The story revolves around the protagonist Vishwas Rao, played by Shahid, who is an aspiring actor and is being mistaken as a real-life super cop. Apart from Shahid, the movie also stars Ileana D'Cruz as Kajal and love interest of Vishwas Rao, Padmini Kolhapure as Savitri and playing as Shahid's mother, Darshan Jariwala as ACP Shivanand Khare, Salman Khan in his cameo appearance, Nargis Fakhri in a special item number, and others in their respective roles. Produced by Ramesh Taurani, under the banner of Tips Music Films, the film is slated to release in theatres on September 20, 2013.
